Passengers had fits and lost consciousness due to heat after their Thomas Cook flight to Stansted waited on the tarmac at Zakynthos for three hours with no air conditioning, food or drink. Temperatures allegedly reached 48 degrees at the rear of the cabin. The flight was eventually cancelled, and the airline apologised and admitted fault.
