Rosemary Perez, 42, a Filipino migrant worker protested the deportation of herself and her son, Rohan, 13, who was born in Israel, on an El Al flight from Tel Aviv to Hong Kong. Rosemary was in Israel illegally for 10 years. They were removed from the flight and handed to Israeli officials where they were kept in a detention facility at Ben Gurion Airport. They were deported the next day.
