Emergency procedures were implemented at Silvio Pettirossi when an anonymous phone call claimed that there was a bomb on board an Air Europa flight from Argentina to Madrid, which was due to stop in Asuncion. Once arriving at Silvio Pettirossi, police and the Paraguayan Special Forces (FOPE) checked the aircraft, luggage and passengers, and concluded that it was a false alarm.
