A 51-year-old businessman elected to sue British Airways for up to £10,000 in damages for the injuries he allegedly suffered as a result of having to sit next to a 23-stone passenger on a long flight. The man claimed he suffered soft tissue damage that needed treatment for months after a 13-hour flight from Bangkok to London Heathrow in January 2016.
