It was reported that security personnel at Tbilisi International were accused by the Iranian Embassy of Georgia of outraging the modesty of Muslim women arriving from Isfahan, Iran, by demanding that they remove their hijabs. An investigation was launched and found that no regulations protecting religious rights had been breached by security staff at the airport.
