Kosuke Takeda, 47, a Japanese official of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare was arrested at Gimpo International Airport for assaulting an airline employee after being told to wait for boarding. Takeda allegedly kicked the employee in the groin when he was being restrained, also shouting “I hate Koreans”. This was the second disorderly incident by Takeda, who was denied entry on a flight two days earlier for pushing a Japan Airlines employee in the face. It is alleged that during both incidents Takeda was drunk. The Japanese government later apologised.
