CBC reported that they had obtained internal documents about a cyber-attack on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) perpetrated in November 2016. The cyberattack is believed to have come from an organisation known as Emissary Panda. The ‘watering hole’ attack, whereby hackers target frequent visitors of the website, allowed the hacker to access more than 2000 records.
