A man identified as Saidona Singgon made a comment about a bomb as he boarded a PAL flight for Cotabato and then claimed he was an employee of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), showing what appeared to be a CAAP ID card. CAAP later denied Singgon was an employee.
