Congress MLA, Vinod Chandrakar, allegedly humiliated an Air India staff member because he arrived late for his flight from Raipur to Ranchi and was denied boarding. Chandrakar shouted his status at the female Air India employee, grabbed her ID and demanded to speak to the manager. She used her phone to call the manager and Chandrakar did not return her mobile – she was forced to walk home without it at night. Chandrakar claimed that the employee was shouting at him and he was delayed because his baggage was screened twice.
