Wang Zhengxian, a Chinese national who was working as a trainee flight attendant for Ethiopian Airlines, was deported back to China after allegedly damaging property worth approximately 580,000 Birr (c. £16,300), which included windows and artefacts within the reception area of the airline’s corporate offices. Wang Zhengxian had been fired from her role due to her behaviour and she reacted by causing the damage.
